SHANE LIDDELOW, Ph.D.
Shane Liddelow is Associate Professor at the Neuroscience Institute and NYU Grossman School of Medicine. His lab investigates the role of immune-glial interactions in the central nervous system, with a focus on astrocyte dysfunction in the context of neurodegenerative disease. His lab uses high throughput single cell/nuclei and spatial transcriptomics, rodent and human cell-based functional assays, synthetic genetic engineering approaches, and a number of rodent models of disease.
